Who is DraftFlow for?

Steel fabrication shops that detail in Tekla Structures and track the shop floor in a spreadsheet. DraftFlow is the shop-side layer: the drawing register, the job sheets and the shop floor stay on the same revision.

Does it work with Tekla Structures?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A companion runs inside Tekla Structures 2024 and works per job sheet: it raises RFIs with the selected members and photos, runs QA review with notes on members, exports the job sheet's phase as IFC for the model viewer, and shows what changed since the IFC baseline so a variation can be raised. Shop status is set and kept in DraftFlow; the companion writes nothing into the Tekla model. Its first validation against a live customer Tekla model is still pending, so contact DraftFlow before relying on it in production.

Do we have to replace PowerFab or our MIS?

No. Keep the system you use for estimating, purchasing and stock. DraftFlow covers the drawings, job sheets and shop floor around it.

Can you move our spreadsheets in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Projects and job sheets import from Excel or CSV, with a step to match your columns. For our first partner shops, we run the import with you at no charge.

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The 14-day trial supports the core workspace for up to 50 users and 100 projects. No credit card is required and it does not automatically convert to paid service. Accounts are approved by hand, and the 14 days start on approval.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

The application, database and cache run in Singapore. Project files you upload, including drawings, IFC models and mill certificates, are stored in Australia and the system refuses to store them anywhere else. The company logo and drawn or typed signature images are kept in the Singapore database. The full list of service-provider categories and their locations is published on the Service Providers page.
